topControl is a Java-based, platform-independent configuration software that is supplied free- of-charge with a topCam. This clear and user-friendly tool facilitates the complete parameter- definition of the camera, in terms of function, interfaces, output format and options. topControl is implemented as a browser-enabled version on each camera and can be operated with any browser software.

topLine facilitates the central administration and control of up to 8 topCam camera systems. The complete process can be represented very clearly through the use of comparative readings over several stations. This application also offers job-based documentation that collects the results of the reading system centrally. Individual cameras can of course also be configured through topLine and adjusted according to the requirements.

topList is a tool for configuring actual-state lists and facilitates the centralised receipt of data from several camera systems during the process, including third-party devices. The data received there can be formatted according to given parameters. These unified current-state lists can then be compared manually with production lists (target-state lists).

topCheck is the logical next-stage development of topList. This database-supported application facilitates the loading of production lists (target-state lists) into a database in order to compare them online with actual-state lists from the topCams. The systems carries out checks in respect of data that is to be read, data that has been read as well as duplicates and no-reads. If, for example, a coding has already been read, the system can generate a fault signal to disqualify it from being read again. All functions are parameter-definable. Once production is complete, the system pro- vides a status overview of all read processes. All data records that have not been read are saved to a list that can then be used as reprint or restart list. topCheck has been developed for users who have to guarantee 100% processing and full traceability.
